Air purifiers! You never give them a thought until you need one so badly, your lungs are ready to go on strike. Don’t fight it, just meet their demands, folks. Finding the perfect one for you is no easy task! But never fear – today we’re comparing three (count ‘’em!), three air purifiers from AROEVE. So take a deep breath (haha!) and let’s dive right in!
Filters
All 3 models use the H13 HEPA filter, which filters out particles bigger than 0.3 microns. Odors, pollen, smoke, whatever lingers in the air longer than it should, won’t stand a chance! Allergy sufferers, rejoice! Pet dander will also be reduced.
The MK04 also boasts of a secondary UV filtering process, in addition to the HEPA filter – so allergy sufferers, rejoice TWICE for TWICE the filtration!

MK04 (filters): 5 stars
MK06 (filters): 4 stars
Noise
All 3 models feature a “sleep mode”, which lowers the fan to a quieter level. According to the reviews, the sleep mode on all 3 is so quiet, they could barely hear it at all! Maybe the setting would also be good for studying, reading, or just setting up a new printer. If you know, you know.

Aromatherapy
If you’ve ever cooked fresh broccoli in your kitchen, you know the absolutely lovely scent it leaves behind. Sarcasm intended. And you also know that even with an air purifier, fan, or an open window…it sometimes isn’t enough. A newer, nicer, more powerful scent is needed!
Well, the MK01 features an aroma pad to that essential oils can be applied. When the air circulates – boom! The entire room now smells like cinnamon, lavender, and lemon. Essential oil brings you joy. However, several reviews mention that the pad does not diffuse the scent very well, and a couple of consumers say the essential oil caused the part of the machine to come unglued! Proceed with caution.
The MK06 also features the same aroma pad, and none of the reviews mentioned the complaints that the MK01 did. Maybe this model is improved. Maybe it’s Maybelline.
Unfortunately, the MK04 does not come equipped with aromatherapeutic capabilities. It just does its basic air purifying job without putting on “airs”. Sorry, that one just slipped out, I swear. So users will have to grab their air freshener separately if they want the benefit of adding a Sweet Summer Pineapple Mango Breeze or whatever.

MK06 (aromatherapy): 5 stars
Area coverage
An air purifier is only as good as the area it can reach, right? So before hauling off and purchasing the first one you see out of sheer desperation for relief, it’s always best to check the coverage. Otherwise, you might end up with a state-of-the-art, one-of-a-kind air purifier with a reach that covers your entire closet.
The MK01 refreshes the air in rooms up to 215 sq. feet, or 20 sq. meters. For context, this is about the size of a one-car garage. For a larger area, consider another model.
The MK04 can refresh the air in rooms up to 1,095 sq. feet, or 100 sq. meters. This would be a better bet for a larger area!
The MK06 covers the same size area as the MK01 (215 sq. feet), so again, perfect for a smaller room. Or a larger closet, if you will.

MK04 (area coverage): 5 stars
MK06 (area coverage): 3 stars
Filter replacements
The MK01 and the MK06 feature a convenient 2000-hour replacement light, which will turn red and indicate when it’s time to replace the filter. Replacement filters are easy to find and order online. Convenient and easy?? Count me in.
The MK04 does not appear to have any indicator for filter replacement, which means it’s time to break out your calendars and put in an “air purifier filter change” in 3-6 months. Not too convenient, but equally easy to find and order new filters.

Circulation rate
You’ve heard it all before. Good air in, bad air out. Well, air filters do the process backward – bad air in, good air out! And we love them for it. And the more efficiently they can do this, the better. The MK01 and the MK06 both have a 360° air outlet, so the good air comes out all around the unit and everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.
The MK04 does not have the same air outlet, and the good air is instead released through the sides of the unit. However! Because it’s designed to cover a larger area than the MK01 and MK06, it probably evens out somewhat.

Additional features
The MK01 and MK06 do not feature any additional bells and whistles other than what we’ve already covered. And to be fair, what we’ve covered is quite impressive!
The MK04, however, has a cool bonus feature that just might knock your socks off. If you’re wearing socks to be knocked, that is. The MK04 has a built-in sensor that can sense when the air quality drops and will turn yellow or red to indicate that. Yes then, my friends – it will work all the harder by speeding up the fan to get the air cleaned faster!

Which is best?
Factoring in all of the features each unit offers, there doesn’t appear to be a clear “best”. Drat, the lot. But if buyers are looking to purify the air in a smaller area with the option to use essential oils, the MK01 or MK06 would suit them best. Bear in mind, the MK01 is cylindrical, and the MK06 is a cuboid (a rectangle cube), so one design might suit the space better.
But if a buyer is looking to cover a larger space, sans essential oils but with an additional layer of filtration and an air sensor? Has to be the MK04. Breathe happily!
