In this comparison article, we’re going to be looking at two great air purifiers; The Alen BreatheSmart Customizable Air Purifier, and the Rabbit Air MinusA2 Ultra Quiet HEPA Air Purifier.
Over the years, air purifiers have seen a noticeable rise in popularity. There are many reasons for this, but over time, air purifiers have developed and only gotten better at taking dirty air and purifying it. All while becoming more and more affordable.
People are more health-conscious than ever, and they don’t want to be breathing in air that is full of germs and other nastiness. Instead, they want to breathe in air that is clean and pure.
Air Purifiers do just that. They take air that is dirty and full of allergens and other nasty microbes, and they filter all of that stuff out. The air that they release is clean and pure, and you can inhale it without having to worry about any potential health problems.
Now, let’s look at these two air purifiers, what they can do for you, and the myriad of benefits that they will bring you.
The Alen BreatheSmart Customizable Air Purifier
Weighing 21 pounds, this is a heavier Air Purifier. It definitely isn’t the most lightweight, but due to its sleek and convenient design, you won’t have any problems picking it up and moving it around.
Now, due to its size, it has a large Maximum Area Coverage. Using the Alen BreatheSmart Customizable Air Purifier, you can purify a space that is up to 1100 square feet.
So, if you want to purify a living room or a space that is equally large, then you can do just that.
Now, the Alen BreatheSmart uses what’s known as a HEPA-Pure filter. The term “HEPA” stands for “High-Efficiency Particulate Air”. Essentially, this purifier takes the particles that are entering the purifier and separates them. However, it does so in a way that enables it to take even the smallest of particles. And, due to the technology that has been implemented, it can remove odors and nasty smells, bacteria, mold, dust, and other things.
Due to this flexibility, this is a great purifier to have. You can use it in big, open spaces, and it doesn’t matter what is in your air that you need to get rid of, because it can get rid of just about anything.
Using a “SmartSensor” feature, the Alen BreatheSmart detects the quality of your air, and then it makes adjustments, on the fly, to accommodate the quality of your air at any given moment. This includes changing the filter that is being used at that time, which can save you money, down the road.
Finally, using “WhisperMax” technology, the purifier is almost silent as well!
However, this is an expensive air purifier. It’s a big investment, and if you don’t need all of the extra features, it may be an unnecessary purchase.
The Rabbit Air MinusA2 Ultra Quiet HEPA Air Purifier
With the Rabbit Air MinusA2, you have a couple of features that are absolutely fantastic, and quite unique, as well.
The first is the fact that there are six filters – that’s right, SIX filters – in this air purifier. Each one of these filters enables you to, essentially, eradicate any germs or odors that are in your air. Due to HEPA technology, and the quality of each individual filter, these work like a charm.
Then, you have the fact that this particular air purifier has been designed to be quiet. Ultra quiet, as the name would imply. Most air purifiers are known for being a bit loud, so if that is something that has bothered you in the past, take note of this air purifier.
For the Maximum Area Coverage, you can purify a room/space that is, at the most, 1815 square feet.
Just like the Alen BreatheSmart, the design is simple and very sleek. The Rabbit Air MinusA2 weighs only 19 pounds. You can either stand it up on, say, a countertop, or mount it to a wall, due to the rectangular shape.
As it stands, the Rabbit Air MinusA2 is a very effective air purifier that can work wonders for your air. But, there is one small flaw.
This is an expensive air purifier. This kind of efficiency doesn’t come cheap. While the flexibility it offers is great, at the end of the day, if it isn’t necessary for you, it may be better to find something a bit cheaper.
