COSORI vs. Breville Introduction

The Breville, however, is significantly sturdier and heavier, weight over 38 pounds, while the COSORI is much lighter at just under 20 pounds.

The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro uses a rectangular form factor for countertop placement and has a forward-facing drop-down door with a towel handle. It comes in a black stainless steel finish and brushed stainless steel.

The COSORI Air Fryer Toaster Oven also uses a rectangular form factor to fit on a crowded countertop. It has a forward-facing drop door with a towel handle. It comes in a color that they call WiFi Black that looks sleek and contemporary.

Power and Temperature

Both the Breville and the COSORI are rated at 1800 Watts. But while the COSORI is only able to muster up to 450°F, the Breville can go up to 480°F. The Breville also can go down as low as 80°F while the COSORI can only get down to 100°F.

If you are just looking at it from the perspective of heating, then trying to get it lower may not make sense, but the lower temperature allows you to use your air fryer and oven as a dehydrator. And while you can dehydrate food at 100°F, doing so at 80°F over a longer period has better effects.

The lower heating temperature is also able to prove dough better.

Utility

As far as how each can be used, they are identical. Both, the COSORI and the Breville, can bake, air fry, dehydrate, roast, toast, broil and use as a convection oven. Both allow you the room and convenience to bake pizzas or roast chicken.

Both units use almost identical user interfaces. Each uses manual dials to control the functions with an LCD.

Where the two differ is minimal, but if this is what you are looking for, then this may be what tips the scales. The COSORI is able to also make yogurt and comes with a rotisserie. The Breville however, could be used for the yogurt, if you know how, but it does not come with the attachments or the ability to be used as a rotisserie.

On the other hand, the COSORI is unable to reheat frozen items in the same way the Breville can. It also cannot slow-cook a casserole the way the Breville can.

Connectivity

We also evaluated the two appliances for their ability to allow remote control and remote feedback. Only the COSORI has the option to control it via Amazon’s Alexa, thus adding voice control and activation. Breville does not have that ability.

COSORI also works with Hey Google.

COSORI can also be controlled by an app on your smartphone. It will allow you to mind the progress of your dish, or be able to set it to Keep Warm, giving you the flexibility for getting dinner warm.

Overall User Experience

Based on our trials, there was no difference in the quality of the food we prepared using either of the ovens. We also scoured social media to understand the ups and downs of both models. Both models did not disappoint users who had purchased them in the six months prior.
There were no reasonable complaints that indicated a major problem with either model.

Most people who bought the COSORI felt that the ability to connect to Alexa or Google was a plus. They had no complaints about the connection. Alexa never made a mistake with the commands.

As for the Breville, most people were happy with the sturdy build and ability to proof and dehydrate. They were also happy with how large chickens cooked thoroughly, from inside to out without having the problem of uneven cooking.

Both had complements online for being able to cook up to 30% faster.

COSORI vs. Breville Conclusion

There is a wide gap between the pricing of the two models which needs to be part of the consideration. While the build quality is better on the Breville, the question you have to ask yourself is if that is worth the huge price difference.
