Eufy is a very popular vacuum manufacturer. One of their most popular robot vacuums is the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S. Now they created the upgraded version of that popular robot vacuum: the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 12. Or is it actually an upgrade? Let’s find out in this comparison review.
First things first, both of these robot vacuums are good in what they have to do: vacuuming your floor. They each have their own set of distinct and excellent features that must be considered.
However, chances are, there’s only one that is going to fulfill all of the needs and wants that you have when it comes to vacuuming.
In this article, you’re going to learn which vacuum that is, exactly, and why it’s the best one for you!
Before we get into that, let’s do a quick recap of what a robot vacuum actually is.
A robot vacuum is a vacuum that uses robotics technology to automate the actual process of vacuuming.
Generally speaking, they are small, short and mostly round. This enables them to go underneath furniture – such as chairs and couches – as well as to move at a relatively quick pace.
Of course, it also means that they can’t clean as much in short periods, and they don’t have a lot of versatility when it comes to cleaning spaces that are higher up.
One of the reasons they are so popular is because you don’t have to actually do anything to use them. Instead, you simply press a button, and they vacuum for you. It’s that simple, and that easy!
Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S
First off, this is currently the slimmest Eufy RoboVac model. It’s less than 3 inches tall, and it is also very lightweight. Just over 5,5 pounds.
Now, while it is a low vacuum, it has wheels that enable it to do a bit of climbing. Not much, but the wheels enable it to climb over door ledges and onto carpets if needed.
These wheels are activated when the sensors detect the aforementioned door ledges and carpets. Using these sensors, the vacuum can also detect things like drop points, and then it will redirect itself to avoid falling. Same goes for when it is almost out of battery life. Then, it will simply go back to the charging dock.
As for the actual suction power, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S is powered with 1300Pa of suction. This enables the vacuum to clean just about anything. And this is aided through the different cleaning modes that you have access to. As well as the BoostIQ technology, which uses the sensors to detect areas with a lot of dirt, and then it turns on the higher cleaning modes, and once those spaces are cleaned, it reverts to the normal setting.
On a single charge, the vacuum can clean for up to 100 minutes. While cleaning, everything goes through a filtration system that consists of a single dual-layer filter, and then one filter that is designed to filter out the smallest of particles. Finally, all of the dirt, dust, and debris that you have sucked up enters a dust box that can hold up to 0.6 liters.
The biggest problem with this vacuum is that it doesn’t have any smartphone functionality.
Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 12
On the surface, the Eufy RoboVac 12 is a pretty similar vacuum. It looks the same, it’s the same height, and it seems to be of pretty similar quality. Which is great, of course!
But, there are a couple of really important key differences that are fantastic.
First off, the suction power isn’t just 1300Pa, now, it’s 1500Pa, giving you a nice, extra boost of power for spaces that are especially dirty.
Now, this is the main difference, but it means two things. First off, you can more easily vacuum on thick carpets, because the extra suction allows for the vacuum to more easily dislodge dirt, dust, and debris that has been embedded in the carpet.
Second of all, it just makes cleaning bigger messes easier. It enhances the BoostIQ technology and makes cleaning a more efficient process.
Unfortunately, just the like the 11S, there is no smartphone functionality.

So, Which One Should I Buy?
It depends on what you want. If power is the most important thing, then you should purchase the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 12. But, the power increase isn’t particularly significant, so if you don’t care about the extra power or find it necessary, then the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S should be more than sufficient for your purposes.
Well, that’s it for this Eufy 11S vs 12 Comparison. We hope you found it helpful!
