Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum Review

Robot vacuums are developing at a fairly rapid pace. This means that there are all kinds of new features and traits being integrated into the new robot vacuums that are being released. These are not static technologies, by any means, and there are a lot of interesting things taking place, within the robot vacuum marketplace.

Just recently, Eufy released their newest robot vacuum. This is a robot vacuum that emphasizes many of the basic trends that you can find in the other robot vacuums that are currently being offered on the market, but it also has some newer features and design attributes that create a unique, and powerful experience.

In this buying guide, we’re going to be taking an in-depth look at the unique features and attributes of the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum. You’re going to learn all about what this robot vacuum offers, and why it’s more than worthy of your consideration.

You are also going to learn all about how the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum compares to several other robot vacuums. More specifically, how it compares to the Eufy RoboVac 11S, the Eufy RoboVac 15C, and the Eufy RoboVac 30. Right before we do that, though, we’re going to go over what a robot vacuum is, in a more specific sense. You’re going to learn what robot vacuums do, and what separates them from the other types of vacuum cleaners on the market.

What Is A Robot Vacuum Cleaner, Exactly?

A robot vacuum cleaner is a vacuum cleaner that is much smaller than most other vacuum cleaners. Small and very portable. And, this is because robot vacuums are contained within circular “shells”, you might call them, that are designed for mobility and speed. The reason this “shell” is circular, is because it makes moving within smaller and more confined spaces a lot easier.

On the bottom of a robot vacuum, there are little wheels that allow the robot vacuum to move around. There are also various brushes and a suction pathway. Usually, the suction pathway is in the middle of the robot vacuum, and the brushes are on the sides. Usually, there’s also a big brush right by the suction pathway.

Of course, in the end, these things are pretty superfluous, when it comes to what a robot vacuum is. In reality, a robot vacuum is a vacuum cleaner that automates the entire process of vacuuming. You may not get the same level of performance as many other vacuum cleaners. But, here’s the thing, to vacuum your floors, you don’t have to do anything. Just press a button or two, and then that’s it. By pressing that button, the vacuum will begin to vacuum all across your floors, cleaning things up and ensuring that your floors are nice and clean.

In the end, a robot vacuum is a vacuum cleaner that automates the entire process of vacuum. That is why they are so popular and useful.

What Does The Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum Offer?

To start with the basic design, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum has an incredibly simple design. It’s a smaller robot vacuum that has a power button on the very top of its shell. You can press this button to turn on the vacuum. Or, you can use the remote control, which gives you access to all of the features that you need. Features such as scheduling, turning the vacuum on, and accessing the various cleaning modes.

You don’t have smartphone functionality with this robot vacuum. Instead, you must use the remote control, which can make things a little inconvenient.

As for the suction power that you have access to, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum gives you 2000Pa of suction power. That’s quite a bit of suction power, and using this suction power, you can vacuum up just about anything. However, for carpets and rugs that are thick or dense, this robot vacuum may have a bit of trouble getting all of the dirt and dust within those surfaces.

Unlike some of the other robot vacuums that are currently on the market, you don’t have to do a lot, to properly use this robot vacuum. This is due to BoostIQ technology. So, BoostIQ is a type of technology that uses sensors to detect the type of surface that the robot vacuum is currently on. This data, regarding the surface, is then sent to the RoboVac 11S MAX, and it adjusts the suction power it’s using, to properly accommodate the suction needs of that particular surface. The suction power goes up, or down, in just 1.5 seconds.

For many reasons, this is a truly exceptional feature. Using BoostIQ, the entire experience is very hands-off, which gives you a lot more time to focus on other things, and to not be bogged down by the minutiae of adjusting suction speeds and various cleaning settings.

During the vacuuming process, the RoboVac 11S MAX is very quiet. It doesn’t make that much noise, at all, and this is nice if you’re sensitive to certain noises and find them to be annoying or disruptive.

On a single charge, you have access to one-hundred minutes of battery-life. For a robot vacuum, this is quite a bit of battery life. Especially when you consider the suction power that this particular robot vacuum offers. And, charging this robot vacuum is pretty easy, since the robot vacuum knows when it is about to run out of battery life, and when that happens, it goes right back to the charging dock and recharges. That’s all there is to it.

In terms of how this robot vacuum cleans, three individual brushes are on the bottom of it. They are located all across the robot vacuum, and as a result of this, they can cover the entirety of the space they are cleaning. This works very well. When doing this, they can loosen the dirt and dust. Then they sweep it into the suction pathway, where it’s vacuumed up.

In the end, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX Robot Vacuum is easily one of the very best robot vacuums available on the market today. It’s powerful, efficient, and very inexpensive.

Eufy 11S MAX vs. Eufy 11S (Slim)

The Eufy RoboVac 11S (Slim) is a similar robot vacuum, in certain respects, but it’s also quite different. And, these differences from a few things. One of which is the price, this is a more expensive robot vacuum than the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX, as well as the general design.

Eufy 11S MAX vs. Eufy 11S (Slim)

When it comes to the design, this is a very slim and sleek robot vacuum. That’s one of the biggest selling points, the slimness of the robot vacuum. Eufy has spent a lot of time and energy, creating a very slim and thin vacuum cleaner that can move within all kinds of different spaces, and underneath a bunch of different things. And, well, the eufy RoboVac 11S (Slim) does that very well.

As for the suction power, it is a fairly significant downgrade from the suction power found in the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S MAX. You only have access to 1300Pa of suction power. This is enough for basic vacuuming sessions where you need to pick up clumps of dirt and dust, but for anything more than that, it isn’t that great of a choice.

Smartphone functionality isn’t in this robot vacuum cleaner, either. So, you will be using the remote control to control this particular robot vacuum. For some people, this may be inconvenient; for others, it might not be.

The battery-life is one-hundred minutes. But, you can clean for a longer period, because the dust box holds 0.6 liters of dirt and dust. So, you aren’t going to have to empty it that much, and this will save you some time, and make the experience a little more convenient and enjoyable for you.

In the end, if you want a robot vacuum that is a bit quicker, and a bit sleeker, this is a good choice. But, it’s more expensive and doesn’t offer you any extra power, so keep that in mind.

Eufy 11S MAX vs. Eufy 11S (Slim) Robot Vacuum

Eufy 11S Max vs. Eufy 15C

The Eufy RoboVac 15C is a bit different from the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S, in various ways. One of the most obvious ways and one of the best attributes of this robot vacuum is the fact that you can use your smartphone to control and access the different features and settings that the 15C offers.

Eufy 11S Max vs. Eufy 15C

That’s right. You have smartphone functionality! This is so useful, because no matter where you are, as long as there is a Wi-Fi connection, you can access this robot vacuum. You can turn it on and off. You can create a schedule. You can access various cleaning and suction settings. You have access to all of that.

When it comes to the general design and aesthetic, it’s pretty much the same. Nothing’s wrong with this, though, since it’s a good design that works very well for what Eufy is going for. It allows the robot vacuum to move around relatively freely, and to clean in a variety of different spaces. It won’t get stuck on anything, or be unable to move into certain spaces. Instead, it just works well, and that is something that Eufy should be commended for, with the 15C.

However, it’s a bit of a downgrade, in terms of performance, because you only have 1300Pa of suction. That isn’t a lot of suction, unfortunately, and so you can’t do much with it. You can clean up dirt and dust, and some smaller pieces of debris – food crumbs – but carpeting and rugs are off-limits. You won’t be able to vacuum on those surfaces.

If you don’t need a lot of performance, but you want a robot vacuum that you can use for regular cleanings that’s easy to use, efficient, and works with your smartphone. This is one of the best robot vacuums for that purpose.

Eufy 11S Max vs. Eufy 30

With a suction power of 1500Pa, the Eufy RoboVac 30 isn’t as powerful as the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S. Although, it does utilize BoostIQ technology, and it does have a decent amount of suction power, overall. Using this robot vacuum, you’ll be able to vacuum up dirt, dust, as well as small pieces of debris. You will also be able to vacuum on carpets and rugs that are thin, rather than thick.

Eufy 11S Max vs. Eufy 30

Many of the other features found within the 11S are present within the Eufy RoboVac 30. Features such as one-hundred minutes of battery life, as well as the same brush system. And, you also have a 0.6-liter dust box. All of these features are very useful and aid in creating a simple and easy vacuuming experience.

What’s really useful, though, are the Boundary Strips that Eufy has provided. To use one of these, you place it onto the floor, and then that tells the robot vacuum not to cross that space. You can use it to delineate specific areas for the robot vacuum to clean.

In the end, if you don’t mind a downgrade in performance, and you want the Boundary Strips, this is a really good robot vacuum.
