Pet monitoring is an important concern for pet lovers who want to be there for their pets while they are out. In figuring out which of the two models is best, we test the Furbo 360 and the Eufy Pet Camera for dogs. We used social media as a guide to understanding what people wanted in pet cameras and evaluated the two models based on that.
Furbo 360 vs Eufy Pet Bark Detection
Both models were autonomously activated when your pet barked. Both then pushed a notification to the app on your smartphone. You are able to mute this on your phone, but it’s a good thing to have, especially when you are not expecting your pet to bark or meow, and if he or she does, it is something you need to look into.
The Furbo has adjustable bark volume detection. That way, you don’t need to be notified for just a simple yelp or whine. But you will be notified when the bark volume picks up. That’s handy since you would not want to be disturbed at work, or the movies when your pup is just playing with a ball or entertaining himself.
Camera
Having the clearest possible camera was high on the list f those who were in the market for a pet monitoring device. Both, the Eufy and the Furbo have 1080-pixel cameras with night vision in full color. The night color is exceptionally clear and vivid in the Furbo than in the Eufy, although it is by no means poor.
The Eufy has a 170-degree field of vision and can swivel allowing a 360-degree view of the entire area. It does need a WiFi connection to stream the images. However, the camera is driven by a smart system that can track the dog at all times and swivel to capture it on camera.
The Furbo can also swivel 360 degrees. Its wide angle is not as wide as the Eufy. Furbo only has a 132-degree wide-angle lens. And it comes with 4x zoom. It also has an intelligent dog or cat tracking system so that you can detect where your pet is at any time, and then follow it with the camera as it swivels on its base.
There was one limitation we found using both pet cameras. While both say that it can keep an eye on the dog at all times, it’s not possible once the dog turns a corner. Both units only have a direct line of sight.
Audio
Having two-way audio is an important feature to have in pet monitoring. Cats and dogs respond positively to their human voices when agitated. Being able to hear them and then respond to them will go a long way in calming them down.
In testing it, we wanted to see which audio system was as true a representation of the voice as the real one. We found that both models came close to representing the real voice of the person. Dogs responded equally to both models.
App Notification
Both models informed the pet owner with the same lag time. It didn’t take long from the time the dog barked to the time the app flashed a notification on the person’s phone. The app can also be silenced if you are in a meeting.
Treats
The best part of both devices is that it allows you to lob treats whenever you want. Just pull up the app on your phone activate it and the pet camera will volley as many treats as you want. The treat feature is included in both designs and while it doesn’t matter how far a distance you lob it, what matters is that having your pet go after a treat is a good way to break the monotony when they are alone.
it is also a good way to stop them from having separation anxiety.
Both cameras dispersed treats without trouble when we tested them.
Just a point to note that we observed in our testing and some social media posts. Be sure to keep the pet camera in a location that is central and on a sturdy surface that prevents it from getting pushed over.

Furbo 360 vs Eufy Pet Conclusion
When it came to autonomous tracking, we found that the Furbo seemed to work marginally better. There was some lag in the Eufy, which eventually did find our pet, but the Furbo seemed to be tracking in close to real-time. As far as build quality and pricing, they were almost identical with Furbo edging out the Eufy by just a little in our opinion.
