Super Easy-To-Use

For you to use this robot vacuum, you have three choices. You can use the included remote control, your smartphone, or an Amazon Alexa device. All three of those choices are good, and all three provide a fantastic user experience.

Even though the remote control is easy-to-use, many people choose to use their smartphone or Amazon Alexa device. Both devices are slightly more convenient – being able to access the robot vacuum at any time, and voice control, respectively – while offering the same array of useful features and functions.

Regardless of the device you choose to use, you are given access to the same features. These are features such as turning the robot vacuum on and off, creating a custom schedule, choosing a cleaning mode, and telling the robot vacuum to recharge.

Every single feature works well, while also enabling you to tailor the vacuuming process to your exact needs.

Strong Suction System

The suction system this robot vacuum relies on is good. If you compare the system to other Roomba robot vacuums, it is not nearly as good as some others. But, that being said, it is still very good, and great for cleaning most surfaces.

Every hard surface within your home – wooden floors, for example – can, with this robot vacuum, be cleaned with ease. All of the dirt, dust, and debris on those surfaces will be vacuumed up quickly, and thoroughly, if you use this robot vacuum.

But, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for soft surfaces. Soft surfaces – carpets and rugs, primarily – are a little more challenging for this robot vacuum. The reason for this is quite simple: soft surfaces tend to be rather dense, and this suction system is not very good at reaching into those dense surfaces and gathering up what’s inside of them.

All of that being said, certain soft surfaces – ones that aren’t too dense – can be vacuumed with a fair amount of ease. Soft surfaces that are dense, however, cannot be. Because of this, if you intend to vacuum carpets and rugs, this robot vacuum may not be for you. But, if you need to vacuum hard surfaces, this robot vacuum is a great choice.

Very Useful Brush System

Every robot vacuum needs a good suction system. But, that’s only one of two systems that every robot vacuum needs. The second system, which is just as important, is a good brush system.

Fortunately, the iRobot Roomba 694 Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum offers a very useful brush system. With this brush system, removing dirt, dust, and debris from any hard surface, and some soft surfaces, is easy and pleasant.

The brush system consists of two brushes. Both of these brushes are rather small, but they consist of strong bristles, all of which are quite thick. Due to these thick bristles, dirt, dust, and debris can be gathered up, and thrown into the robot vacuum, with ease.

Beyond that feature, these brushes are “multi-surface” brushes. You can vacuum on wood surfaces, and these brushes are great for that, as well as any other hard surface. Even thin soft surfaces, as mentioned earlier, can be vacuumed with a fair amount of ease.

Decent Battery-Life

The total battery-life this robot vacuum offers is 90-minutes. Compared to some other robot vacuums, that isn’t a lot. But, considering the low cost of this robot vacuum, as well as the plethora of other great features that it offers, 90-minutes is quite good.

For vacuuming an apartment, condo, or small house, 90-minutes is more than enough time. However, if you live in a larger place, with a lot of spaces and areas that need to be vacuumed, then this battery-life may not be sufficient. You may need to run the vacuum, charge it, and run it again, for a thorough cleaning.

Since this is the case, if the battery-life will be a problem for you, then this robot vacuum may not be ideal. But, if you live in a smaller home, then this robot vacuum is perfect.

Conclusion: Affordable, Efficient, And Effective
