Today, we are taking a look at two mini dehumidifiers. Specifically, the Pro Breeze PB-03-US, and the Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier.

Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier vs PB-03-US

Now, Pro Breeze is a very reputable brand that has consistently manufactured great dehumidifiers, among other devices and product lines. The two mini dehumidifiers we are going to be looking at are just two products, out of many, that Pro Breeze has manufactured. But, with that being said, they are two of the best mini dehumidifiers on the market, and today, you’re going to see why that is!

Now, let’s dive straight into the Pro Breeze PB-03-US!

The Pro Breeze PB-03-US

Initially, you’re going to notice that this is a rather small and lightweight dehumidifier, which is good since this is supposed to be a “mini” dehumidifier.

The water tank that comes with the dehumidifier can hold up to 52 ounces of water. However, within a single day, the Pro Breeze PB-03-US can remove up to 18 ounces. Meaning that, in just under three days, you will be able to fill up the entirety of this water tank. This is very convenient because it means you don’t have to empty the water tank every few hours constantly.

When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will shut off, and a small LED light will turn on. This light tells you that the water tank needs to be emptied, and once you empty it and put the tank back in, then the dehumidifier will start again.

Ideally, you will use this dehumidifier in spaces that are around 220 square feet, or a little more than that, but not by much. For larger spaces, it can work, but it’s far from ideal.

As for how the dehumidification process works, the Pro Breeze PB-03-US uses a technology known as “thermoelectric cooling”. Essentially, this kind of technology involves the creation of a heat flux, and this heat flux is then used as the key component in the dehumidification process, allowing for the cooling of the moisture in your air, turning it into pure liquid. It’s a simple process, but effective.

The Pro Breeze PB-03-US doesn’t use a compressor, however, and this is nice because it means the device doesn’t produce very much sound. While using this dehumidifier, you’ll notice just how silent it is.

The Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier

In many ways, the Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier is quite similar to the Pro Breeze PB-03-US. However, there are a couple of key differences between the two that will affect your purchasing decision.

First off, the Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier weighs a total of 2.4 pounds; this is in contrast to the weight of the Pro Breeze PB-03-US, which is 4.9 pounds.

For sheer portability and mobility, this is the ideal dehumidifier. However, in terms of power, it isn’t as powerful as the Pro Breeze PB-03-US.

Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier

Using this dehumidifier, you can dehumidify a space that is just over 150 square feet. More than that and the dehumidifier won’t work as well, because that measurement is the type of space Pro Breeze has designed this dehumidifier for.

The water tank is much smaller than the water tank found in the Pro Breeze PB-03-US. It can hold 16 ounces of water, and in a single day, the dehumidifier can remove 9 ounces of water. This means you’ll have to empty the tank out on a fairly regular basis.

Other than that, the same type of dehumidification system is present, thermoelectric cooling, and just like the Pro Breeze PB-03-US, this dehumidification system is nice and quiet. You can run the dehumidifier at night, and it won’t disrupt your sleep.

So, Which Dehumidifier Is Better?

All in all, it really does depend on your preferences and the kind of space you have.

For example, the Pro Breeze PB-03-US works with a larger space – 250 square-feet – and it can dehumidify a space much more quickly than the Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier. Along with that, the water tank has a much greater capacity, so you don’t need to empty it out as often.

So, when it comes to sheer power and efficiency, the Pro Breeze PB-03-US definitely wins out.

However, the Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier is smaller, and while not as powerful, it is a more mobile dehumidifier. It’s designed to work within rooms and spaces that are small and compact, and it’s designed for you to be able to move it to different rooms, easily.

If you want mobility and flexibility, go with the Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier. If you want power and efficiency, then go with the Pro Breeze PB-03-US.
