In this buying guide, we’re going to be comparing two of the best Roborock robot vacuums that you can buy. The robot vacuums in question are the Roborock S4, and the Roborock E35.
We’re going to be looking at a few different aspects of these robot vacuums. It’s important to look at the design and how the design and aesthetic affects the overall experience. And then, it’s really important to look at the different features that these robot vacuums offer.
From all of this information, you’ll be able to get a very good idea as to the exact qualities of these robot vacuums. When you’re aware of that, it’ll be that much easier for you to decide which robot vacuum, out of these two choices, is the right robot vacuum for you.

What Does The Roborock S4 Have To Offer?
When you take the Roborock S4 out of the box, you’ll notice that it looks just like every other robot vacuum. It has a circular design that allows for mobility, and, well, that’s the basic design attribute. There aren’t any particularly unique aesthetic or design choices, but there doesn’t need to be, either.
Underneath that design, though, there are a couple of really great features and systems. One of which is the motor itself. This motor is incredibly powerful, and it provides 2000Pa of suction.
For a regular vacuum cleaner, 2000Pa of suction isn’t a lot. But, for a robot vacuum, that’s quite a bit of suction, and it allows the Roborock S4 to move across many different surfaces. On these surfaces, it’s able to pick up dirt, dust, and debris that’s lying all across them. But, what’s nice is that the same thing applies, even if the Roborock S4 is moving across a carpet or a rug, which requires more suction.
Since the motor can provide so much suction power, the Roborock S4 is quite versatile. It can vacuum on hard floors, and soft floors, with incredible ease. This means that no matter what kinds of surfaces your home has, the Roborock S4 won’t have any problems vacuuming on them.
What’s cool is that you can use your smartphone to access a variety of different features that are related to the sensors of the S4. These are the sensors that guide and direct movement. Using your smartphone, you’re able to access a map of your home, and on this map, you can choose specific rooms and areas that you want the S4 to vacuum, and specific rooms and areas that you don’t want the S4 to vacuum.
You can also use your smartphone to access features that are a bit more basic. Features, such as creating a custom schedule and telling the vacuum to recharge, among others. These are important features that give you control over the robot vacuum and how it is being used.
Just those features alone make the Roborock S4 a great vacuum. But, the last main feature that needs to be pointed out is the battery. The Roborock S4 has a battery that provides two-and-half-hours of battery-life. For a robot vacuum, that’s A LOT of battery-life!
You can run the robot vacuum for 150-minutes, before it needs to recharge. This makes it so easy for you to vacuum your entire home, without having to worry about the inconvenience that a short battery-life – which many robot vacuums have, unfortunately – often gives you.
In the end, while it is more expensive than many other robot vacuums, the Roborock S4 is an exceptional robot vacuum that provides an enjoyable and efficient vacuuming experience!
What Does The Roborock E35 Have To Offer?
If you judge by appearances, you might assume that the Roborock E35 is just like the Roborock S4. In many ways, you’d be correct, since the Roborock E35 has many of the same features and design attributes as the Roborock S4.
However, while there are plenty of similarities, there is also one major difference. This difference has to do with a feature that makes using the Roborock E35 very different from using the Roborock S4.
This feature is that of a mopping system. You can use the Roborock E35 as a robot mop, even while the device is vacuuming.
The mopping system works very well. It allows the Roborock E35 to mop up light stains and messes that are on your hard floors. If it comes onto a soft floor, such as a carpet, the mopping system turns off.
If you’re looking for a replacement for regular mopping, this isn’t the right device for you. While the mopping system is very good, it’s not great for especially thick and dense stains. Instead, it’s great for light stains and simple messes.

As for vacuuming, which is still the main focus of this robot vacuum, it works in the same manner as the Roborock S4. The motor provides 2000Pa of suction. And this is plenty of suction for vacuuming on hard floors, and soft floors. If you have floors of both types, that are quite dirty, then this is an excellent robot vacuum for you to use! It works incredibly well, and provides a very pleasant and efficient vacuuming experience.
One aspect that is different, is the fact that the Roborock E35 doesn’t give you as much control over where the vacuum goes. You don’t have access to a map that allows you to choose specific rooms and spaces to vacuum. But, you do have access to all of the features that you would expect, such as scheduling, and they work well.
Just like the Roborock E35, you have access to two-and-a-half-hours of battery-life. For any vacuuming – or mopping – task, this is more than enough time!
Ultimately, if you don’t mind losing out on a few mapping features, and would like a robot vacuum that is efficient, powerful, and easy-to-use, then the Roborock E35 is great! Plus, it comes with an awesome mopping system, which is excellent for small stains and messes!
