Roomba i3+

The Roomba i3+ is the simplest and most affordable robot vacuum in this guide. But, even though it is simple, relatively speaking, it offers some excellent features and functions, all of which make for a very pleasant vacuuming experience.

To use this robot vacuum, you will be relying on the included remote control, your smartphone, or a smart home device. Each one of these devices works well, and gives you access to the same array of features and settings. These are features and settings such as being able to create a custom schedule, change the cleaning mode, and, of course, send the vacuum to empty itself out.

Right inside of this robot vacuum, there’s a small, but very powerful, motor, and Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes. Both of these systems work together, in harmony, to ensure that your floors are free of dirt, dust, and debris. These two systems are very powerful and they make quick work of just about any mess that happens to be on your floors.

As for the self empty base, it is simple, sleek, and not too dissimilar from many other self empty bases. But, one key feature that sets it apart from many other robot vacuums is the fact that it can hold up to sixty-days worth of vacuumed up material. That is a lot of material, and being able to hold that much material ensures that the vacuuming process is, as much as it can be, completely hands-off!

Roomba i6+

The Roomba i6+ is similar to the Roomba i3+. But, it offers several very unique features that enhance the entire vacuuming process, ensuring that your experience with this robot vacuum is pleasant and efficient.

For you to use this robot vacuum, you will be relying on the remote control, your smartphone, or a smart home device. Most of the features that this robot vacuum offers can be accessed on each device. But, there is one key feature that you cannot access using the included remote control, and this feature makes a tremendous difference.

Through the use of iAdapt Technology and vSLAM Navigation, this robot vacuum is able to create detailed maps of your home. Each one of these maps enables the robot vacuum to know where it is and where it needs to go. These maps are combined with sensors that detect the amount of dirt, dust, and debris in certain spaces, ensuring that those messes are dealt with properly.

The really cool thing about both of those technologies, though, is the Smart Mapping feature they give you access to. By using this feature, you can see the exact space your robot vacuum is currently in. Just open up your phone – or ask Google Home or Amazon Alexa – and you can see where the robot vacuum is and where it’s going.

Along with that, though, a recent update has given this robot vacuum another great feature. This feature allows you to not only see where the robot vacuum is, within your home, but to choose the exact spaces and areas that it cleans . That way, if you want the robot vacuum to clean your living room and kitchen, but no other spaces, you can do that. You can even be more specific and choose specific areas within those spaces that you want cleaned.

Just like the Roomba i3+, this robot vacuum uses Dual Multi-Surface Brushes and a Power-Lifting Suction system. Both of these systems work exceptionally well, making it very easy for you to remove dirt, dust, and debris from hard and soft floors. Since these are the same systems that the Roomba i3+ uses, however, the cleaning performance is quite similar, and it’s unlikely you will notice any major difference.

As for the self empty base, it is, just like the cleaning systems, exactly the same as the Roomba i3+. But, nevertheless, it’s excellent, ensuring that you can easily empty large quantities of vacuumed material automatically.

Roomba i7+

The Roomba i7+ is the most elaborate, and expensive, robot vacuum in this guide. Even though it is the most powerful and effective robot vacuum in this guide, it offers all of the features that the two previous robot vacuums offer, and very few new ones. But, the differences that it does offer, many of which are related to this vacuum’s performance, are significant and notable.

To use this robot vacuum, you will be relying on the remote control, your smartphone, or a smart home device. Each device gives you access to features such as creating a custom schedule, telling the vacuum to empty itself out, and choosing from various cleaning modes. But, to access the Smart Mapping feature, which lets you see where your robot vacuum is and choose what the vacuum cleans, you will need to use a smartphone or a smart home device.

What sets this robot vacuum apart from the two others is the power and efficiency that it offers. Right inside of this robot vacuum, you have a powerful motor and Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes. None of the brushes are especially unique, but the motor generates a tremendous amount of suction power, all of which can be used to remove dirt, dust, and debris from soft and hard surfaces of all sorts.

As for the self empty base that this robot vacuum comes with, you won’t find anything unique or novel. Rather, this is the exact same self empty base that the i3+ and i6+ come with. But, it is still very useful, and ensures that you have a pleasant – and completely hands-free – vacuuming experience!
