In today’s marketplace, vacuum cleaners are some of the most popular cleaning devices that you can buy. And, it does make a lot of sense, because vacuum cleaners are some of the most powerful, efficient, and effective cleaning devices out there. Using a good vacuum cleaner, it’s no problem at all, removing the dust, dirt, and debris that is staining your floors.

When the first vacuum cleaner was invented, in 1902, it was a large device. Large, bulky, and not particularly strong or powerful. Many people didn’t see the potential, and they had no idea just what would take place within the realm of vacuum cleaning technology.

Many people didn’t see a future. But vacuum cleaners had a very strong future, and to this day, vacuum cleaners are continuing to evolve and grow at a very rapid pace. New technologies are integrated into vacuum cleaner designs, and all kinds of people are figuring out ways to improve the overall technology and to ensure that it remains useful and efficient.

If you go online, or to a store, and take a look at the vacuum cleaners that they offer, you’ll find all kinds of different types of vacuum cleaners. You’ll find stick vacuum cleaners, which are vacuum cleaners that take the standard design of an Upright Vacuum and make it significantly smaller and more mobile.

You’ll find upright vacuums, the most common vacuum cleaners. You’ll find wet-dry vacuums, vacuums that let you vacuum up water and other wet matter. And, in recent years, you’ll also find robot vacuums.

Robot vacuums have taken the vacuum cleaner marketplace by storm, and that’s because they are a wonderful technology that merges the power and efficiency of a vacuum cleaner, as well as the general purpose of a vacuum cleaner, with robot technology. Through the use of these two key technologies, you get a vacuum cleaner that can clean your floors, removing all of the dirt and the dust that happens to be on your floor at that time, without your direct control of the vacuum cleaner itself.

Instead, that entire process can be automated and controlled, through the use of the technology that comprises the “robot” element of the vacuum, which consists of things like sensors and technology that allows for navigation to take place.

More and more people are being drawn towards robot vacuums because they are far more convenient than most other vacuum cleaners, and using a robot vacuum cleaner doesn’t require you to get your hands dirty, and to use the vacuum manually.

One of the most popular robot vacuum brands is the Roomba, which comes from iRobot. Today, we’re going to be looking at the Roomba S9+, the Roomba S9, the Roomba i7+, and the Roomba i7. These are four of the most popular Roomba robot vacuums, and you’re going to learn all about the unique features and attributes that they offer, and what makes them great. By the time this guide is over, you’ll know which one is right for you.

What Does The Roomba S9+ Offer?

Unlike most of the other Roomba robot vacuums on the market, the iRobot Roomba S9+ has a feature that allows the vacuum to empty the dustbin on its own. Every Roomba can recharge on its own, by finding its way back to the charging dock, but most Roomba’s – and robot vacuums in general – are unable to empty the dustbin on their own. Instead, you have to do it yourself. But, with this excellent feature, the entire robot vacuuming process is completely automated.

Through the use of a 3-Stage Cleaning System, a system that iRobot has continued to develop, the Roomba S9+ can effortlessly sweep and vacuum up all of the dirt and dust that is on your floor. If there are smaller pieces of debris on the ground – things like food crumbs – the S9+ can remove those things, too. The suction is so powerful. It’s forty-times as powerful as the robot vacuums in the Roomba 600 product line.

iRobot has spent a significant amount of time developing various mapping and navigation features for the S9+. Using these systems that iRobot has developed, you have access to a complete map of the floor that the vacuum is on, and you can access this map using your smartphone, and then you can go onto the map and choose which rooms you want to clean, and which rooms you want to block off, so that the S9+ is unable to go there.

Ultimately, the Roomba S9+ is one of the most powerful and efficient robot vacuums on the market, and if you want a robot vacuum that is the best of the best, this is it.

What Does The Roomba S9 Offer?

In many ways, the iRobot Roomba S9 is a very similar vacuum cleaner to that of the Roomba S9+. It has all of the same basic features, and there aren’t too many actual differences. Except for the fact that this robot vacuum doesn’t empty the dustbin on its own, which is one of the big selling points of the S9+.

Through the use of the 3-Stage Cleaning System, the S9 offers a great deal of performance. The same level of performance that is found in the Roomba S9+, and because of this, you aren’t going to have any issues when it comes to vacuuming up all kinds of different things, whether it’s thick patches of dust or messes that consist of food crumbs.

The navigation technology is the same, and this means that you have a very detailed map that allows you to pick and choose which spaces the S9 should clean, and which spaces it should ignore. These sensors also make it easier for the S9 to figure out where it needs to go, and what it should clean.

In the end, though, the Roomba S9 is just like the Roomba S9+, only it doesn’t have the dustbin feature that the S9+ offers, and it’s cheaper. But, it’s still a great robot vacuum.

Roomba s9+

What Does The Roomba i7+ Offer?

Just like the Roomba S9+, the iRobot Roomba i7+ empties its dustbin on its own, without your input. This is an exceptionally useful feature that makes it so much easier to automate that entire process of vacuuming, and as a result of this, if you are looking for convenience and ease-of-use, the Roomba i7+ is very much worthy of your consideration.

As for the suction, it’s not as powerful as either the S9 or the S9+. But it is still very powerful. However, if you intend to vacuum on thick carpets, this may not be the best robot vacuum for you to go with, because the suction isn’t as capable as that of the S9, and it’s not as good at working on those thick surfaces.

Instead, it’s ideal for carpets that are a bit more thin, and hard floors. On hard floors, and thin carpets and rugs, it works exceptionally well and has no problems.

Using your smartphone, as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Home, you can access a map of your home. This map is created by the different sensors that are located all across the Roomba i7+ and using these sensors, you are then able to go onto your device and to pick and choose which rooms you want the i7+ to clean, and which rooms you don’t want the i7+ to clean.

This is consistent between all of these Roomba models, but it’s one of the most useful features out there, and it makes things significantly easier if you intend to automate the vacuuming process completely.

Roomba i7+

What Does The Roomba i7 Offer?

The iRobot Roomba i7 is a direct continuation of what the Roomba i7+ offers. But, it doesn’t offer the automatic dustbin emptying feature that the i7+ offers, and if that’s a very important feature to you, then this is not going to be the right robot vacuum for you.

Roomba i7 Robot Vacuum

In other aspects, though, the Roomba i7 is pretty much identical to that of the Roomba i7+. You have a 3-Stage Cleaning System that offers a great deal of performance, but not as much performance as that of the S9 or S9+, and it’s not as great for vacuuming on thick rugs and carpets. But, it is still very good, and for vacuuming most things, you aren’t going to have any problems.

Just as with all of the other Roomba vacuums in this guide, Smart Mapping is a key feature here, and you can access a map that lets you tell the Roomba i7 where it needs to go, and what it needs to clean. It’s a simple feature that is tremendously useful.

Ultimately, if you want a relatively inexpensive robot vacuum – when compared to the other robot vacuums on this list – that offers strong performance, and some very nice features for convenience and ease-of-use, then the Roomba i7 is a very nice choice!
