Upright vacuums are the most popular vacuums on the market. You can find plenty of excellent upright vacuums, anywhere you go.
Here’s the thing about upright vacuums, though. They’re big. Tall. And, bulky. They’re big, tall, and bulky, and this means that they aren’t that enjoyable to move around, and to maneuver. They make the process of vacuuming a little less efficient due to their bulk and general heft. This means that it can be a bit annoying to move the vacuum around, and it can make the vacuuming process take a lot longer.
Most people are aware of these issues, but they still choose to buy upright vacuums. In truth, it’s not hard to see why. Upright vacuums are very affordable. There are a lot of vacuums that are, perhaps, better, but they cost a lot more money. Upright vacuums are not only affordable. Though, they’re incredibly powerful. For a small price, you can get an exceptionally powerful Upright Vacuum that can clean anything.
Today, though, the upright vacuum technology is changing quite a bit. More and more manufacturers are adopting a different kind of model, that embraces mobility and ease-of-use while moving away from the bulkiness and heft of most upright vacuums.
Out of all of the manufacturers that are moving upright vacuums in this direction, Shark is one of the biggest leaders. They are doing quite a bit to advance the status of upright vacuums, and as a result of this, we’re going to be taking a look at the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum With DuoClean, which is one of their best, and newest, upright vacuums.
You’re going to learn all about the features and attributes that Shark has given this upright vacuum, and the myriad of ways it will make your vacuuming experience easier, and more enjoyable.

What Does The Shark APEX Upright Vacuum With DuoClean Offer?
At the forefront of the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum, there are three key technologies. Each one of these technologies is unique to Shark. They have developed these technologies so that they would be able to use them in this upright vacuum so that you can have the most efficient and effective experience possible.
These technologies are DuoClean, Powered Lift-Away, and the Zero-M technology. Each one of these technologies is incredibly useful.
So, with DuoClean technology, you have a piece of tech that uses a special dual brush-roll system. This brush roll system consists of two individual brush rolls, and each brushroll has been crafted in a manner that ensures it is strong and durable, and then these two individual brushrolls are used, together, to move across surfaces such as carpets and floors made of harder materials, scooping up the dirt, dust, and debris on the surface. More specifically, though, they are exceptionally useful when it comes to vacuuming on carpets, since the bristles are nice and long, and you’re able to use these bristles to go deep into the carpet and to get rid of all of the gunk that is within that carpet.
As you are doing this, hair is going to wrap itself around the brushroll. This is just what happens, during the vacuuming process. Nothing you can do about it. Or, is there?
Shark uses the Zero-M technology to remove the hair and fuzz from the brushroll, as you are vacuuming, so that you don’t need to stop the vacuum to remove that hair. If you vacuum on a lot of rugs and carpets, then this is especially useful.
As for what the Powered Lift-Away technology does, it serves as a way of allowing you to extend the vacuums reach. Using this technology, you are able to remove the canister, which holds the motor and the dustbin and all of those components, and then you can move the canister away from the main vacuum, and extend the hose, so that it’s much easier for you to vacuum in spaces that are a bit further away.
In terms of functionality, the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum is second-to-none. You have a lot of great features with this upright vacuum, and a lot of flexibility, too, so you can clean just about anything with it.
When it comes to the cleaning modes that are available, you have three choices. The first choice is Upright Mode and Upright Mode is the main mode that you’ll be using. It’s when the vacuum cleaner, and the canister, are connected, and you use the vacuum cleaner just as you would a regular upright vacuum. Simple, and efficient, it’s a great mode.
If you need more mobility, though, then Lift-Away Mode is a great choice. You remove the canister from the vacuum itself, and then you can extend the hose, as well as the brush, in all kinds of different directions. By doing this, it’s significantly easier to clean spaces that are small or cramped.
Finally, the third mode that you can use is Above-Floor Mode. With Above-Floor Mode, you detach the canister, just as you do in Lift-Away Mode, and then you can grab the brush and use it to go close to the floors, and to vacuum up all of the dirt, dust, and debris from those floors. Most people use this mode for cleaning stairs, since it makes that entire process a lot easier, then if you were to use the regular upright vacuum to do that.
During the vacuuming process, all of the dirt, dust, and debris that you vacuum up flows into the dustbin. Right before it does that, though, it goes through a filtration process. This filtration process uses a HEPA-filter to remove all of those really small and pernicious particles that can get released into the air. Particles such as allergens, and various types of bacteria. By using this filtration mechanism, this prevents you from getting sick from those particles.
Shark is one of the best vacuum manufacturers around. And, the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum is one of the best upright vacuums on the market. It’s pricey, but if you want something great, then it’s worth it!
