What Does The iRobot Roomba 614 Have To Offer?

The iRobot Roomba 614 looks like most of the other Roomba vacuums. It’s circular, small, and compact. That’s what most robot vacuums look like, actually, and it’s a style that iRobot pioneered, due to the flexibility and mobility that it gives a robot vacuum.

iRobot Roomba 614

While the Roomba 614 may not look different from most other robot vacuums, underneath the familiar design there are a variety of features and systems that make it genuinely excellent and exceptional.

When the Roomba 614 is moving across the floors in your home, vacuuming up the dirt, dust, and debris that it comes into contact with, there’s a process that’s taking place. This process is known as the “3-Stage Cleaning System”, and it’s a system that most other Roomba vacuums have.

To start the process, side brushes loosen up the dirt, dust, and debris that’s surrounding the vacuum. Then, all of that stuff flows underneath the vacuum, into a main brush, which also helps to loosen that stuff up and break it apart. To end the process, all of that stuff is thrown into the main suction pathway, which is right behind the main brush, where it’s vacuumed up.

It may sound like a simple process, and it is, but it works very well. It provides a consistent and reliable vacuum experience, ensuring that whatever you need to vacuum up, gets vacuumed up.

As for the suction power that the Roomba 614 offers, it’s excellent for vacuuming on hard floors. Floors that are made of hardwood, stone, tile, marble, etc; those can be vacuumed up easily, using the suction power that the Roomba 614 has. But, for softer floors, such as carpets and rugs, the experience is a little less consistent. Sometimes, it works out very well, and there are no issues. But, sometimes, depending on how thick the soft floor is, there’s a lot of dirt and dust left within the folds of that surface.

What is nice, though, is that the Roomba 614 uses sensors that detect areas that are especially dirty. When it does, it adjusts the amount of suction that it’s using, so that it can properly accommodate those areas.

iRobot Roomba 614

Ultimately, the Roomba 614 is a very good robot vacuum. It provides a great deal of power and efficiency, and it’s quite easy to use. If you’re looking for a great robot vacuum that is affordable and powerful, then you can’t go wrong with the Roomba 614!

What Does The iRobot Roomba 675 Have To Offer?

What the iRobot Roomba 675 offers is quite similar to what the Roomba 614 offers. You’re going to notice that this robot vacuum has a design that is very similar to that of the Roomba 614, as well as many of the same features and attributes.

That’s the thing, this isn’t meant to be a huge improvement or differentiation from the design traits of the Roomba 614. Instead, it improves on certain qualities, while retaining the base design.

iRobot Roomba 675 vs iRobot Roomba 614

To use the Roomba 675, you can rely on a remote control, or your smartphone. With the Roomba 614, you could only use a remote control, but you can use your smartphone to control the Roomba 675. This is quite nice, because it gives you access to features such as scheduling, different cleaning modes, and being able to turn the vacuum on and off, at any time.

As long as your smartphone has a Wi-Fi connection, and as long as the Roomba 675 has a Wi-Fi connection, you can access all of those features and settings at any time, and at any place.

When it comes to the overall vacuuming, it’s nearly identical to that of the Roomba 614. The 3-Stage Cleaning System is in full effect, and it works in the same manner. On a deeper level, the brushes are the same, and they work very well, just as they did in the Roomba 614.

The same goes for the sensors which can detect areas that are especially dirty. Then, the vacuum adjusts itself so that it’s able to properly accommodate those areas, and the suction and brushing power that they require.

Speaking of suction power, though, the Roomba 675 does offer more suction power than the Roomba 614. Not by a lot, and it might not even be noticeable to you. But, if you’re looking for a robot vacuum that offers more suction power, suction power that you can use to vacuum on thick, soft floors, then the Roomba 675 is notable, in that regard.
