Cleaning Capacity
The Vital 100 is programmed with three different fan speeds made for rooms of many sizes. Its lowest speed cleans the air in rooms of up to 139 square feet with an ACH (air change per hour) rate of 4-1/2 times. Its second gear works optimally in rooms of up to 185 square feet with 4 ACH, and its highest fan speed clears the air 3.3 times in spaces as large as 300 square feet.
Obviously, from the size and ACH ratings of the Vital 100, it’s far from being the largest or most efficient air purifier out there, but for most bed rooms, dorm rooms, and home offices, it works like a charm.
No Ozone
Despite being used to eliminate bacteria and viruses by destroying their DNA, ozone is a lung irritant that can cause irreversible health damage if exposed to the molecule in large quantities. Users don’t need to worry about exposing their loved ones to ozone with the Vital 100 since it neither shoots UV-C beams or has an ionizer.
Considering the Vital 100 is built to be used in confined spaces, we’re actually grateful that it doesn’t have an optional ozone-generating ionizer.
3-Stage Filtration System
Do you know what’s better than one or two filters? Three! And that’s precisely what you’ll get with the Vital 100. The first filter is a preliminary filter that traps large particles (hair, fibers, fur, etc.) from clogging the following filters.
The second filter is none other than a True HEPA Filter which, if you don’t already know, traps particles as small as 0.3 microns in size up to 99.97% of the time. The final line of defense is an activated carbon filter that absorbs and eliminates odor molecules and VOCs from the air.
The Ideal Air Purifier for Pet Owners
Let’s take a moment to appreciate just how exceptional the Vital 100 is. For those of you with pets, this is for you. The Vital 100’s tri-filter system, specifically the True HEPA Filter, is made to stop airborne allergens like pollen and dander from sending you into a sneezing fit.
The activated carbon filter is the cherry on top since it eradicates foul odors (pet owners definitely know the smell).
Practically Inaudible

After reaching the time limit, the Vital 100 will turn off automatically, and it’ll switch to standby mode for when you need it.
Verdict
After reading our review, you should have a pretty good idea of just how perfect the Levoit Vital 100 truly is. This is a compact air purifier which won’t work efficiently in spacious areas like living rooms, but for bedrooms and other confined spaces of up to 300 square feet, you’ll have a difficult time finding an air purifier that performs as well as this.
