Its second gear works optimally in rooms of up to 185 square feet with 4 ACH, and its highest fan speed clears the air 3.3 times in spaces as large as 300 square feet.
Obviously, from the size and ACH ratings of the Vital 100, it’s far from being the largest or most efficient air purifier out there, but for most bed rooms, dorm rooms, and home offices, it works like a charm.
No Ozone
Despite being used to eliminate bacteria and viruses by destroying their DNA, ozone is a lung irritant that can cause irreversible health damage if exposed to the molecule in large quantities. After reading our review, you should have a pretty good idea of just how perfect the Levoit Vital 100 truly is. This is a compact air purifier which won’t work efficiently in spacious areas like living rooms, but for bedrooms and other confined spaces of up to 300 square feet, you’ll have a difficult time finding an air purifier that performs as well as this.
