We compared the Oral-B iO Series 5, the Oral-B 7500, and the Oral-B Pro 5000 and came away with a better understanding of what the three toothbrushes have to offer. There are numerous similarities between the three models with only a handful of differences that make the final decision easy to make depending on a person’s needs and preferences.
All three models support Bluetooth connectivity to a smartphone that either run on Android or iOS operating systems. Cleaning Mode
The three toothbrush models all have five smart modes. This allows personalized brushing based on a person’s individual requirements. The brushes come with Daily Clean for daily dental maintenance, Whiten for removing stains, Super Sensitive for those who have very sensitive teeth, Sensitive for those who have mildly sensitive teeth, and Intense for deep cleaning.
The toothbrushes also come with a two-minute timer. The timer is broken down into four quadrants and alerts you every thirty seconds to shift from the upper left to upper right, then the lower left to lower right quadrants of your mouth.
All this is powered by an intelligent core that understands the shape of your mouth and teeth and optimizes your cleaning for a better outcome.
Brush Heads
The Oral-B iO Series 5 comes with three brush heads in the box. It is also possible to purchase after-market brush heads with different designs. Depending on what you need to accomplish, there are even brush heads with charcoal-infused bristles that will help to whiten your teeth while you brush them.
It combines powerful vibrations that easily provide deep cleaning. They are designed to remove plaque and provide that clean feeling while brightening teeth.
The Oral-B 7500 comes with three brush heads in the box. The first is the Cross Action head that has bristles angled at 16 degrees on either side with one facing forward and the other facing back. This reaches deep between teeth for better cleaning.
