There’s a good chance that you have never actually heard of the Miele brand, at least if you’re from the US. They aren’t the most popular brand in the US, but they are in Europe and have manufactured quite a few different products. Some of them are quite exceptional, and one of those exceptional products happens to be the Miele Complete C3 Cat And Dog HEPA Canister Vacuum.
If you own cats or dogs, then you have dealt with the problems that arise when those animals shed, and leave their fur everywhere. These messes can be difficult to clean. Fortunately, though, the Miele Complete C3 is here to help!
Today, we’re going to be looking at what this canister vacuum can do for you.
Now, before we do that, let’s quickly go over what a canister vacuum is.
A canister vacuum is a vacuum in the shape of a canister. It is much lighter than an upright vacuum, and much more flexible and versatile, due to its shape and size.
Introduction to the Miele Complete C3
Let’s start with this basic fact. The Miele Complete C3 is a premium canister vacuum. It is designed to be incredibly effective and, in many ways, the best of the best. Because of that, the features it offers are both specialized, and unique.
The brush is known as the “SEB 228 Electro Plus Electrobrush”. It’s a very well working brush, because you can adjust its level in five different ways, using the “height adjustment” feature. What this does is it enables you to clean a variety of different surfaces.
One thing that must be pointed out is that this particular brush works on both carpeting/rugs, AND hard flooring and smooth surfaces. Some vacuums work best on one specific surface type and don’t really work that well on others. Fortunately, this vacuum does not have that problem!
For cleaning smooth surfaces, there is something known as the “SBB300-3 Parquet Twister”. Now, this particular tool is designed for quick and easy cleaning. You can rotate it 180 degrees, which makes it easier to vacuum in smaller and more narrow or precarious spaces.
Every surface requires its own suction speed. This speed is based on the type of surface itself, as well as the amount of dirt, dust, and debris that is on that surface. Using six different speed settings, you can change the speed at any time, and using this; you can clean just about anything.
Now, if you want to clean upholstery, or even the interior of your car – although, since this is a corded vacuum, that may be a little tricky – you can do just that, using the “STB 101 Mini Turbobrush”. This is a small brush that, while nowhere near as powerful as the main brush, works very well. Cleaning things like upholstery, or even stairs, is a simple and easy process, and this brush easily sucks up all of the dirt, dust, and debris that you have.
This particular brush is also great for cleaning, you guessed it, cat and dog hair! So, if you have pets that shed a lot on the couch, use this, and all of that hair will be sucked up quickly.
When using the vacuum, everything flows through something known as the “Active AirClean Filter.” This is a simple filter that uses AirClean technology to filter out all of the particles, even the really small ones, that you are vacuuming up. Since this is a “cat and dog” vacuum, it also uses an active charcoal asset, which absorbs nasty odors and smells. Pets have been known to leave those behind, so this is a fantastic addition.
Now, this filter is connected to the AirClean Sealed System. The filter itself is incredibly effective, and according to Miele, it can capture and hold 99.99% of all of the particles that flow through it. What the AirClean Sealed System does, is it serves as a way of holding them and isolating the particularly nasty ones.
If there are any flaws in this particular vacuum, it’s that it is an expensive vacuum. It’s very expensive, and that is because you get a great deal in a relatively small package.
The Miele Complete C3 Cat And Dog HEPA Canister Vacuum is a fantastic canister vacuum. It works wonders and can clean anything at all.
However, it’s an expensive vacuum, and if you aren’t in need of some of the more elaborate features it offers, then buying a cheaper model may be wisest.
