In this post, we’re taking a look at the Mighty Mite 3670G. This is a corded canister vacuum cleaner that comes directly from Eureka, it is part of their “Mighty Mite” vacuum product line, and it is one of their most affordable products.
In this article, you’re going to learn all about the unique features and attributes of the Eureka Mighty Mite 3670G. By the end of the article, you’ll know whether or not this is a good corded canister vacuum for you.
Now, with that being said, let’s dive right in!
Features
Weighing just 8.6 pounds, this is a very lightweight Canister Vacuum. Unlike other canister vacuums, the motor is lightweight, so you don’t need to strain in order to pick it up or to move it around.
That’s one thing that needs to be said. You see, the Eureka Mighty Mite 3670G is a lightweight canister vacuum, and as such, it isn’t meant for more intensive cleaning. Instead, it’s meant for smaller cleaning jobs, because it can clean smaller messes in a quick and efficient manner. For bigger messes and larger cleaning jobs, the Mighty Mite 3670G won’t work as well, although you can still use it in that manner, but it won’t be as efficient.
To aid in the flexibility of the vacuum, the power cord is 20 feet long. Compared to other canister vacuums, this isn’t especially long, but for the types of spaces that this vacuum has been designed for, it’s more than sufficient. You won’t have to constantly plug the cord in, then unplug it, when cleaning a space such as a living room or a dining room. For a really big living room, or even a big garage, you probably will, though.
As for the motor, it is twelve amps. This is a lot of power for a canister vacuum such as this, when you consider the price and size. Because of this power, the suction is both strong and consistent, at all times, making it easy to clean most things.
To aid in the cleaning process, you have a bunch of different accessories that make things easier, when cleaning specific types of surfaces and spaces.
For example, you have the crevice tool, which makes it much easier to clean small crevices, nooks, and crannies. If you want to clean upholstery – such as armchairs, couches, and the interior of your car – you can use the upholstery nozzle, which you can attach to the main nozzle. There are also nozzles designed for carpeting and bare floors. That way, you can clean those floor types a bit more effectively, since those nozzles direct the necessary amount of suction through the nozzle, making it much easier to clean, for example, carpeting, since you are being given enough suction.
Sometimes, though, you want to clean spaces that are higher up or elevated, and the main hose isn’t long enough to reach those spaces. That’s why Eureka has given you two extension hoses. You take out the main hose, and put the extension hose in. Using this extension hose, you can still add on all of the other tools and nozzles, but the hose itself is a lot longer. With the extension hose, it’s much easier to clean on the ceiling, on the walls, and even deep underneath your bed or your couch.
One of the downsides of the Eureka Mighty Mite 3670G, though, is the fact that it uses a dust bag, rather than some kind of dust bin or dust canister, to hold all of the debris that you are vacuuming up.
Now, the reason this is a downside is that they’re a bit more difficult to empty, than dust canisters or dust bins. Along with that, however, is the fact that, as time passes, you will need to replace these dust bins. And, depending on how often you vacuum, it can become rather expensive.
Whereas with a bagged system, you wouldn’t need to actually replace anything. Instead, you can just empty out the canister/bin, and that’s that.
Other than that, though, the Eureka Mighty Mite 3670G is a great corded canister vacuum. It’s efficient, easy-to-use, and more than affordable.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a good corded canister vacuum cleaner that can clean smaller spaces in a timely and effective manner, and you don’t want to break the bank, you can’t go wrong with the Eureka Mighty Mite 3670G Corded Canister Vacuum Cleaner!
